West Garden Grove Little League is open to boys and girls of league age
4-16 living within WGGLL boundaries.
2012 League age is defined as a player's age as of April 30,
2012.

ALL REGISTRATION FOR THE 2012 SEASON WILL TAKE PLACE AT
A WALK-UP EVENTS ONLY.

We can only accept cash and check payments at the 12/8 and 1/11
registration events at the Bell Library. Credit card payments will be
accepted at the Snack Shack events. |
Tryout times for players league age 7 and older will be
assigned at time of registration.
Signups will be accepted at the WGGLL complex on Tryout Day Saturday,
January 21st beginning at 9:00 AM. However, available tryout times
may be limited.

COST
|
Costs for the 2012 are currently under review.
We are striving to keep costs as low as possible - at or below
2011 and 2010 levels in order to make Little League baseball accessible
to ALL families in the West Garden Grove/Cypress/Seal Beach area!
We will have prices posted as soon as possible prior to registration.
WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT OUR 2012 REGISTRATION FEES HAVE NOT INCREASED OVER LAST YEARS RATES! The total due at sign-up includes the basic
registration fee, the candy sale (fundraiser) option, and Snack Shack
deposit.
Snack Shack Deposit - This is a $40 deposit per player that gets
refunded when you work a Snack Shack shift.
Candy Option - Each player has two options:
- Sell candy: Pay $50 for one box of 50 candy bars to
sell. Proceeds from the sales are yours to keep. No more candy money to
turn in later!
or
- Buy out: Pay $40 and sell no candy.

Have more than one player in your immediate family? Sign up
two or more of your kids and receive a discount on your
registration fee. Your fourth child who signs up plays free!

WHAT TO BRING
|
You MUST have (no exceptions)
- A legible
copy of the player's birth certificate
- Two
proofs-of-residence:
- a valid Driver's License or other photo ID with
your address on it, plus
- a recent
(within last 2 months) utility bill showing that you live within WGGLL
boundaries.

Cash or check. VISA and MasterCard will be accepted
only at
Registration events the Snack Shack on 1/7, 1/14, and 1/21. - A completed registration form
- UNIFORM
SIZE - We'll want to know what size jersey and baseball pants you will
want for your child. Size samples will be available at
registration. (Youth S-M-L Adult S-M-L-XL)

CANNOT be completed without proof of age and proof of residence
- EVEN IF the player has played at WGGLL before.

TRYOUTS
|
All players league age 7 and above will be assigned a tryout date and
time. This includes players who have already played at the
Major level. Tryouts are currently scheduled for Saturday,
January 21 2012.
What
happens at tryouts?
In case of inclement weather or hazardous field conditions, an
alternate date will be announced.
Make-up tryouts will be held during the week of January 30.

VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT
|
West Garden Grove Little League is operated solely by volunteers and
relies on the generosity and commitment from you to make the season an
enjoyable experience for all. Some of the areas where you
will be asked to contribute your time are umpiring, snack shack duty,
field maintenance, and coaching.
Please lend a hand in support of our youth by volunteering your time.
